Job Opportunity: Finance Manager (Finance Business Partnering):

Job description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting into the Country Finance Lead, this function plays a critical commercial and business partnering function across multiple directorates. This position requires a high performing individual with exceptional communication expertise to assist and partner with managers in the development and management of their departmental budgets. Your main focus is forward looking, not only providing forecasting to the business but also in identifying opportunities to make a real difference and offering value-add advice. The function provides quality assurance services, specialist advice on rigorous compliance matters and undertakes complex financial analysis to support business decisions.
 
Core Responsibilities
   » Manage all accounting operations including Billing, AR, AP, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
   » Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
   » Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
   » Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
   » Research technical accounting issues for compliance
   » Support month-end and year-end close process
   » Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
   » Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
   » Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
   » Additional tasks as necessary

Job Specifications
 
You are our dream come true if you…
   » Have a Bachelor's Degree and equivalent combination of significant education and work practice that will allow prosperous performance of job expectations
   » Must be an ACCA/CPA qualified Accountant with considerable demonstrated practice in a management accounting focused position, including the development and review of budgets, forecasts and performance metrics
   » Have at least ten (10) years of practice and someone who has built a career in similar management accounting functions in suitably complex and growing organisation
   » Have management accounting / commercial analysis practice from a large organisation with a high degree of complexity
   » Will display a strong technical capability across budget, forecasting, planning and consolidations
   » Will also have a track record in adding commercial value to the rest of the business through you work, from your commentary to your strategic involvement and building of businesses cases
   » Will be comfortable advising and influencing non-finance key stakeholders and have a strong technical accountant skill set (budgets / forecasts, cost analysis etc.) as well as driving process and policy improvement across finance and communicating this to the rest of the organisation
   » Have good interpersonal, verbal and written communication expertise to drive tasks to completion and a strong and confident communication style
   » Will have managed a team previously, including qualified Accountants, and be a strong mentor for staff
   » Must have expertise and/or practice in using SAP Accounting software
   » Have demonstrated fluency in English and Mandarin
