Job description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
    Supervise and guide the teams in manufacturing and delivery of Information technology applications to meet Regional country, cross entities and SBG/SFG business and operation needs.
    Collaborate ideas and new technology with both internal and external/industry experts to anticipate, allocate Business & Operational needs in order to facilitate the definition and development of the solution or evaluation of equivalent out of shelf products.
    Lead the Information technology project & CR, providing skills advices to project teams on technical designs and may participate in cross functional initiatives. 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Applications Architecture
    Review planning/enhancement of Group Information technology solutions architecture
    Perform development and enforce best-of-class applications development and management methodologies 
Application and Systems Development
    Manage the development of enterprise class applications and integration in line with Group Information technology solutions architecture
    Quality delivery of application-systems in collaboration with SBU Engagement Manager, Business Analysts and PMs
    Efficient delivery of application development projects (on time and within the budget)
    Management of Information technology application development functions (plan, organize, outsource management and monitor development projects according to set standards)
    Operational efficiency of applications delivery 
Third Party Software-Solutions Management
    Control the System Experts pool to facilitate efficient management of third party software and engagement with business users
    Manage quality delivery of third party software-solutions in collaboration with SBU Engagement Manager, Business
    Analysts and PMs (enterprise integration and in line with Group Information technology solutions architecture)
    Manage an efficient management of third party software enhancements (plan, organize, outsource management and monitor development projects according to set standards)
    Operational efficiency of third party software delivery 
Applications Maintenance and Support
    Control efficient and effective third and-or fourth level support for applications 
Team Management
    Manage opportunities to improve / enhance existing systems
    Services include application customization and integration, user training, installation, live implementation support and maintenance.
    Application customization includes analysis of customization requests and writing of amendment/program specifications, designing, coding and testing of complex programs.
    Manage and resolve application issues
    Manage production system SLA 
 
REQUIREMENTS
    More than 10 years leadership abilities practice in system development and maintenance, managing Information technology support, application development for the banking industry or Information technology Shared Services
    More 5 years practice in middleware, integration and payments system such as EAI, ESB, SWIFT, RENTAS, Western Union and their accompanying ecosystem.
    Advanced knowledge of modern software design and development methodologies. practice on multiple major full release project life cycles
    Advanced capability to work with Web development tools for new applications.
    Advanced knowledge of modern SCM (software configuration management).
    Advanced knowledge of testing tools and unit test and integration test scripting, and testing methodologies.
    Advanced practice using an Integrated Development Environment (e.g., Eclipse, Visual Studio) and development of tool add-ins.
    Strong knowledge of basic Database Administration.
    Expert in defining quality and security standards. Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
    Strong project management/team leader skills. capability to work effectively in a globally dispersed team.
    Strong client and vendor management skills. High level of technical leadership abilities skills
