JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is to be located in Bangkok, Thailand.
 
Job Job responsibilities:
 
Buying
    Prepare and submit sales forecast/budget by store by financial year and buying seasonality, as well as seasonal Pre-OTB and OTB.
    Plan all purchases to be in line with the approved Pre-OTB/OTB.
    Adjust the seasonal budget and OTB to correspond to the actual/historical sales performance of the assigned brands.
    Deliver consumer, channel, space and price appropriate product assortments, without compromising the season’s key highlights.
    Define and implement product/price architecture to reflect brand positioning and market demand, within approved margin policy.
    Aware and keep abreast on competition activities, assortments and pricing in order to apply commercial expertise/information when executing buys.
    Maintain good relationship and work closely with brand partners, regional brand managers located in HQ SG (and other countries within the group for adidas Combat Sports). Stock Distribution & Management
    Ensure timely product distribution to the stores or launch timing following Brand Principal guidelines.
    Allocate products by store located on assortment x consumer, channel, space and price appropriateness.
    Perform stock replenishment to the stores, backed by historical sell-through and sales forecast, to ensure sales is capitalized and inventory is maintained at a healthy level.
    Initiate inter-store transfers to maximize sell-through and to support sale/promotion/marketing activities.
    Plan and execute promotions and markdowns on slow-sellers/aged stocks.
    Maintain close liaison with Logistic department to obtain shipment status, product arrival timing and plan distribution timing. Reporting
    Prepare and analyze sales/inventory/promotion reports on a routine basis, i.e. weekly/monthly/quarterly/seasonal, as required by internal management, HQ SG and Brand Principal, or when necessary.
    Apply historical/LFL reviews and commentaries on business performance. Brand Profile/Product Training Support
    Prepare/update brand profile and introduce Information technology to new employees/external parties such as dealers/mall management as required.
    Gather product information and share expertise with Operations/Store teams. Inter-Departmental Communication
    Communicate with Operations team to gather qualitative feedback on trade performance.
    Strategize with Marketing team on key campaigns/events activations.
    contact with all other departments to ensure smooth execution of all functions/tasks. Minimum Requirements:
    Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree / Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
    Minimum 5 year(s) of solid practice in merchandising or planning and brand / product management is required for this position.
    Strong analytical expertise, proactive and able to work independently.
    Meticulous, organized, able to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
    Good command of both spoken and written expertise in English.
    Proficient in using Microsoft Excel is a must and proficiency in using Microsoft Power Poing is an added advantage.
