Job Opportunity: Senior Contracts Executive / Senior Quantity Surveyor:

Job description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Descriptions: -
    To assist the Head of Contracts Department in pre and post contract administration, negotiation and preparation of final accounts for all contracts/ sub-contractors/ nominated sub-contractors.
    Ensure all progress claims are verified up to the final claim certification.
    Ensure sub-contractors tendering processes are performed timely, conduct tender interviews, clarifications, evaluation of costs in order to achieve the most competitive price.
    Monitor and ensure construction costs and variation orders are within project budget and timely prepare overall project budget.
    Liaison with finance department for cost budgeting and update management on project cost status.
    To evaluate the bid price and workmanship quality among potential contractors.
    Establish tendering procedures and contractual arrangement. Review processes and identify area for improvements.
    To develop and maintain the lists of approved sub-contractors and suppliers.
    Maintain and control all contractual records and documentations such as receipts and correspondences, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for all projects.
    To check the Bills of Quantities. Coordinate and prepare budgets for new projects tendering / project that have been secured. 
    • Secure new building contracts. Maximizing the resource efficiency through procurement of materials and equipment.
    Attend Site Meetings and Client Consultants Meeting.
    Handle all contract disputes and legal issues.
    Manage performance of team members from setting goals to assessing performance against goals and to provide performance feedback by conducting performance appraisal sessions.
    Take on any other task assigned by the superior and other ad-hoc activities. 
Job Requirements: - 
    Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying.
    Minimum 4 years of working practice in related field.
    Good expertise in pricing and contract administration with strong analytical skill in costing.
    capability to manage time-lines and resources effectively.
    Good organizational expertise and capability to manage multiple projects.
    capability to build good working relationships with all levels.
    Good people management expertise and problem solving expertise.
    Diligent, meticulous and independent with capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    Excellent communication, presentation and negotiating expertise.
    Travelling as and when required.
