Job description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

    Assure the highest level of Customer Satisfaction and Service.
    Assess the quality of customer relationships, and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels.
    Provide Innovative Solutions to Customer needs.
    Effectively manage the business and drive continuous improvements.
    Exercise complete responsibility and authority over all changes to any assembly in the individual profit center or bsiness unit, including volumes, schedules, engineering changes, and all other unforeseen variations to a project.
    Meets or exceeds customer cost targets while preserving margin through alternative methods.
    Establish relationships by identifying potential customers and connected strategic and marketing plans.
    Exercise final authority to establish any cost assumption or pricing position contained in any quotation.
    Develop, acquire, and service new business.
    Ownership of Plant Level Economics – Absolute Profits, Margins etc.
    Negotiate and fully understand the risk / compensate of contracts with a clear knowledge of the key contractual elements e.g. warranty, termination, recall, indemnity, IP, material excess, flexibility terms.
    Assist the Senior Business Unit Director in maintaining the long-term profitcapability of each individual profit center or business unit.
    Drives a culture of people development and employee growth within the Business Unit and Workcell teams.
    Focus on talent management e.g. performance development, succession management. 
 
Requirements
    University degree preferably in Engineering. Post graduate degree in Business (MBA) would be a plus.
     Significant business practice of 8 years or more in a high volume dynamic manufacturing environment, preferably in the sub-con or electronic manufacturing services (EMS) environment.
    Demonstrated success in program or business unit at a Management level. availability to embrace the Jabil business model.
    In-depth knowledge of financial and commercial aspects of business e.g. financials, pricing, negotiations, sales, planning, contracts etc.
    General of knowledge of plant operations e.g. Manufacturing Operations, SCM, HR etc.
    A team player with well-developed leadership abilities style and mature personality.
    Positive thinking, independent and able to work pressure to meet tight deadlines.
    Good interpersonal and communication expertise. Pleasant personality and people-oriented. capability to interact well with all levels of employees.
    Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
