About the function
The Accounts Payable Subject Matter Expert plays a prominent consultative function with new clients, leading client workshops including Process Transformation engagements, solution validation, Accounts Payable components, demonstrating deep process expertise and explaining how work will be delivered Company. The SME is responsible for reviewing solutions and, prior to sign off, communicating risks and assumptions to delivery leadership abilities.
The SME implements best practices, leverages Robotics Process Automation, technology, analytics and Accounts Payable tools effectively and work with clients to evaluate process changes that will improve performance, efficiency and cost. Frequently the SME will engage in day to day support of Payment, Invoice Processing and Employee Travel and Expense when performance requires improvement, and drive Accounts Payable transformation during transition to realize accelerated benefits.
In addition to the above responsibilities, the SME develops and modifies process bluebooks, solutions standards, SLA and Internal Control standards, and process maturity models. The SME also drives clear and concise communication within the team, and concise executive level reports to client management.
    Assist in administrating the everyday activities of the Accounts Payable Invoice and Payment Accountants
    Participating in the establishment of the SLA for the AP area with the countries in line with overall Company SLA’s
    Monitoring and managing performance in the processes, ensuring that SLA’s and business objectives are met and that team resources are allocated effectively
    Drive productivity, efficiency and cost per FTE for A/P team
    Assist with the standardization of desktop procedures and A/P script connected with the Invoice Processing, Payment and Employee Travel Expense functions
    Measure, monitor, and publish KPI’s related to the team’s process area
    Lead SAP migration, data cleansing activity and data ownership transfer
    Identify and implement process improvement located on best practice of shared services.
    Implement methods and control tools to ensure reliable and high quality in the provided service
    Work closely with other Shared Service Team, Accounting staff and Managers
    Facilitate team meetings using appropriate brainstorming, problem solving, decision making, and project planning techniques JOB Requirements:
    Degree in Finance/Accounting with a minimum of 5-7 years’ practice in Account Payable functions, i.e. invoice processing, invoice scanning, DPO optimization, Travel Expense and Payments
    Transition practice or SAP implementation practice is a MUST
    practice of working in a multicultural, international environment
    Good command of Accounting expertise
    Strong consultative expertise leading client workshops and Accounts Payable consulting engagements
    Understands and applies expertise Accounts Payable programs, technology, Robotics, policies, and practices to resolve critical issues or develop new/complex initiatives
    Understands organizational resources, priorities, needs and policies, and unique requirements of Accounts Payable processes
    Recognize and communicate in a timely manner with significant stakeholders regarding changes to processes or business interruptions that may impact on their area
    Has in-depth expertise and practice in executing business processes, management and measurement systems
    capability to contribute to an outcome located and customer focused environment
    Possesses broad proficiency control requirements
    Document procedures, and ensure adherence to same
    Extract and analyze data, and summarize findings, including making recommendations located on findings
    Communicate using clear, concise and effective written and verbal formats
