Offer: Risk Manager (Project Investment):

Job description:


    To be located in the group within Client and be tasked with the delivery of projects with investment values in excess of 30 M Euros in the APAC Zone that are built, owned and operated by Client.
    The function of the Risk Manager is to provide support on project risk and mitigation matters to Capital Implementation management and Project teams from project development through execution.
    this function is a key determinant in the success of the project and its subsequent operation. Therefore the practiced senior professional needs to have the necessary background to deliver the requirements of this function.
    Conduct risk assessments proactively on projects in development and execution in Asia.
    Responsible for risk identification, quantification and mitigation
    Professionally conduct detailed risk workshops using company risk management tools
    Establish and maintain good working relationships with Group and subsidiaries Departments, project developers, project managers, E&C, and Business Development leads 
    Coordinate and contact with Europe and America on project risk management matters
    Support Project Teams for managing claims and disputes as needed
    Conduct formal and informal risk presentations to internal stakeholders as needed,
    Capitalization of risk management lessons learned in project development & execution 
    Bachelor Degree or higher
    10+ years minimum practice in project risk management function(s)
    Risk management practice in engineering and construction in O&G industry
    practice working with international companies
    Previous practice working in the industrial gas market
    Strong expertise of engineering, procurement and construction
    expertise of contracts, legal and insurance
    Strong communication and management expertise.
    capability to effectively work within a diverse, international organization at all levels of seniority; and build good relations with internal and external customers.
    Strong organizational expertise and able to work under significant pressure, able to multi-task with changing priorities
    Understands and actively supports the organization’s vision, values and goals as well as strategic objectives
    A leader with unwavering ethical behavior
    Positive behaviour and high standards for safety
    Willing to travel domestically and overseas as needed (20% - 30%)
    Fluent in English (spoken and written)
    practiced in 100% Risk Management. Project located will not be considered.  
    Regional exposure as this position is covers Asia Pacific
