Qualification Dip » practice 8 to 10 years » Job Description/ Requirement Responsibilities To manage and drive the indirect and direct procurement services in the contract logistics industry independently. Able to lead positively, be persuasive and perseverance towards achieving set goals and KPIs. This position is located in the Singapore office and will be leading a team of 3 direct reports. The person shall be a problem solver and a critical thinker, with guts in managing conflict and to do what is right with integrity. He or she shall also lead with empathy, shape, and guide our procurement teams in Singapore to achieving procurement excellence. Details as follow:- » To establish and manage the Singapore procurement team and strategy which identifies, prioritizes, evaluates, and manages the day-to-day procurement needs and opportunities. » To manage the everyday procurement operation and supervise completion of tasks performed by Procurement staff » To maintain primary responsibility for the procurement of categories (consumables, equipment, services such as contract labors and local/cross border transports) in Singapore. » To provide cost analysis on CAPEX buy and/or lease of category purchases. » Actively review on cost saving initiatives and report of savings to the Head of Procurement » Lead business review meetings with all procurement staff to review compliance and implement improvements and best practices. » Participate and represent procurement in project procurement, by providing and supporting the business units with our buying rates. » Collaborate with Internal Audit to identify areas of weakness and ensure procurement controls are put in place. » Develop sourcing and procurement activities that support key business objectives. » Establish and enhance supplier relationships to drive sourcing & supplier initiatives to meet or exceed product & service quality, to deliver sustainable cost reductions, while reducing or mitigating risk in the Supply Chain. » Provide strategic direction on procurement actions, approval workflows and thresholds, and tracking related to Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders in Singapore. » Contract management and preparation/review of contract and agreements. ?砝7*| Requirements » Min Diploma / Degree in Purchasing / Procurement / Supply Chain Management, or its equivalent » At least 8 to 10 years of practice in related area, or with at least 4 years significant working practice in managerial/ senior level position » expertise of sourcing and procurement strategies, tactics, processes, procedures, and systems » practice in development of policies and procedures » Negotiation expertise » Adaptable, creative, collaborative, and able to think strategically » capability to lead in the face of complexity in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment. » Excellent interpersonal communication expertise (both oral and written). » Able to work under pressure, take initiative and manage and prioritize work independently » Solid practice in related Supply Chain & Logistic software. » Tel - » Remarks Working Employment Type: Monday to Friday (8.45 am to 6.00 pm) Working Location : West Region Interested parties/candidates, please send updated resume in MS Word format, including:- (1) Expected income (2) Reason(S) for leaving (3) Date of availcapability (We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified) Target Recruitment Pte Ltd (MOM License No: 15C7744) MOM Regn No: R1112418 (RL) » Job category 1 Shipping/ Warehouse/ Logistics/ Procurement » Job category 2 Others » Job category 3 » Job Nature Permanent » Apply Via Word format Resume Here » Commands Need New Account? » Commands Forgot password? » Commands Recommend this job Skills:
