Job Opportunity: Manager, Tax & Treasury:Star Media GroupJob description:Manager, Tax & TreasuryStar Media Grouplocated: Malaysia(Selangor)Posted on 1 May 2024 Job DescriptionJob responsibilities:» supervise tax and treasury function for the whole Group, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and accurate financial reporting. » Ensure timely submission on tax regulatory compliance for the Group. » Involve in E-invoicing implementation. » Manage the Group’s treasury functions such as cash flow , forex , interbank/intrabank fund transfer, short term investments etc. » Act as the primary contact for tax agents and tax authorities concerning all tax-related inquiries and audits. » Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for Management and Board meetings. » Work on special projects as needed, including designing and implementing functional process improvements and automation. Requirements: » Degree in Accounting / Professional qualification in Accounting (CIMA, ACCA, CPA or its equivalent); » Minimum of 6 years significant practice with strong expertise in Malaysia Taxation; » Good expertise of SAP Accounting System, SST Act, earnings Tax Act » Good command of English – both spoken and written.
